I'm new to crossbrowsertesting, so it may be me.

Page I'm testing: https://www.seriousillness.org/demoA/referralforms/feedbackform.php

I set one screenshot to test EI6, 800 x 680. It "failed" the first time, but came through with its automatic retry.

I then wanted to test on larger resolution. It tried and failed, then tried and I guess failed (Ended up with your logo in the screenshot spot).

A different but similar form came out fine on IE6 with the wider monitor (1024 x 768) https://www.secureelderpages.com/trial1/referralforms/form.php

Is this an IE6 issue? An https issue? Just curious. Not sure what "failed" test means.

Hi, First of all, welcome! I

Hi,
First of all, welcome!

I just ran some tests on the URLs you posted and they all completed successfully. If you try them again and they fail, let us know.

You are correct, the system automatically retries taking a screenshot if it detects a failure. If the second attempt fails, then the system stops trying and you see the logo you described. Failing could be caused by many things. If the testing engine doesn't detect that the page has finished loading, it will consider the test failed. Perhaps this is what happened with you earlier.

If you ever have one fail like that again and you are watching, click the live test link and it will launch a live testing session with the OS and the URL in the browser you were testing. This will help debug the problem.

I hope this helps, please let us know if you have any other questions.

Regards,
Mike
