Unicode characters?

Hi there,

We were using this to test IE7 against our site at www.foodjing.com and it seems like the Chinese characters don't render. I think this isn't a browser version issue but rather the system doesn't have the chinese fonts installed.

Any idea whether the Chinese fonts could be installed onto the VM's for testing?

You are correct, the problem is not with the browser, but with the operating system. We have discussed supporting different languages (not just localisation, that is already there) and we are looking into it, but it isn't as simple as installing a different font. The language packs are tied to the parent language of the installed OS and we can't install Chinese on top of English for this version of Windows. I am taking your question to our next meeting and we will discuss what our path forward will be regarding supporting the different types of language packs available.
